The start of this hiking trail in the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park is located in the parking lot of the town hall square in Saint-Ferréol in the Haute-Savoie department. This route draws a loop through the forest. It takes you to the Roc de Viuz (827 metres) from where you can enjoy an unobstructed view of Faverges and the Eau Morte valley.

Here is a simple hike without particular difficulty that is suitable for days of family hiking with children or resting away from the high mountain alpine trails. You will nevertheless be able to enjoy the beautiful, varied and typically Savoyard landscapes. Departing from Cons-Sainte-Colombe, you will go into the undergrowth through the countryside. You will pass through the villages of Ombre Dessous and Ombre Dessus before returning to your starting point of Cons-Sainte-Colombe.
