The start of this hiking trail in the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park is located in the parking lot of the town hall square in Saint-Ferréol in the Haute-Savoie department. This route draws a loop through the forest. It takes you to the Roc de Viuz (827 metres) from where you can enjoy an unobstructed view of Faverges and the Eau Morte valley.
