Cycling route on a towpath along the Ille-et-Rance canal, from the center of Rennes to the village of Mouazé. This canal is the oldest artificial canal in Brittany. It is divided into three sections, and it goes from Rennes to Saint-Malo. On the way, you will pass through undergrowth, and you will pass through the small town of Betton.

The start of this hiking trail is in the parking lot of the Stade de l'écluse du Comte in Rennes in the Ille-et-Vilaine department. This walk follows the course of the Vilaine by the towpath then takes you to the Moulin d'Apigné pond. In winter, frozen ponds can be covered with a thin layer of snow.
