This route begins at Victory Road Trailhead which has parking available. It begins with the Victory Switchbacks, 21 low grade switchbacks to get up to the Lakeline Trail. It then connects to Hell Canyon. This singletrack snakes up the east slope of Hell Canyon. It is a significant climb with 11 switchbacks so yield to hard working uphill hikers and riders.

There is no signage to the arch. There are several ways to get to the arch: one is a loop and one is in and out. If you are going for the in and out, stay on the main trailhead.
