This beautiful boardwalk is a great area to explore for all ages. This is a nice even trail that makes for a perfect choice for beginners. There is little shade along the way, and it is suggested to bring some form of sun protection. Wildlife can be seen in the open areas and an incredible variety of birds can be observed.

This scenic route leads south along the Salado Greenway beginning at Lady Bird Johnson Park. The path is paved and great for walking, jogging, and cycling. There are many trees that line the route and provide shade throughout the majority of the way. Wildlife can be seen in several areas along the way.

The Library Loop connects to the Semmes Library, which has an amphitheater, playground, port-a-potty, and drinking fountain. There are picnic tables throughout the park. Accessibility: Except for a short paved portion near the parking lot, the entire trail has a gravel/dirt surface. This is a short and simple trail that has several picnic tables at the top of the hill. There is a beautiful panoramic view at the top to admire.
