This route begins in the Turkey Roost Area, near the Cactus Patch Trail and travels along the orange-marked trail. It is a relatively easy and well-maintained route that connects with the Blue Loop briefly at the perimeter. There are many flowers and wildlife to observe in these more isolated areas of the park.

This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by mountain bikers and hikers. Parts of the path can become muddy during wet conditions and after heavy rainfall.

This is a great park for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running. The Blue Loop is a pleasant trail, however, it can get tough during the summer months when temperatures rise and there is little shade. Plan to start early to beat the heat and the crowd.
