This great mountain hike is located in Val Badia and begins in St. Kassian | San Cassiano. From the valley station of the Piz Sorega cable car, the path leads up a gravel road to Ütia Malga Saraghes and further across beautiful mountain meadows to the Pralongià mountain inn. From here a leisurely path leads to the Störes summit (2185 m), with a fantastic view of the Dolomites. Then it goes down a little more gently to the Ütia de Bioch hut and on path no. 21A to the Piz de Surega (2011 m)....

This fantastic route starts from San Cassiano in the Val Badia and leads to the Alpe di Fanes Piccolo where the Lavarella Refuge (2050m) and the Fanes Refuge (2060m) are located. Whoever wishes to stay overnight in one of the two refuges, should book in advance. The terrain is very varied and ranges from idyllic wood paths to narrow rocky mountain paths. This beautiful route is located in Val Badia below the majestic peaks of the Fanes Group. It begins in the center of San Cassiano and leads past picturesque farms to then take path no. 15. This is where the Via Crucis begins, which leads to the Santa Croce Sanctuary and the refuge of the same name (2045m). The same path leads back to the starting point.
