Demanding hike in the Ötztal Alps near St. Leonhard in Pitztal. From Plangeross you follow the Cottbuser Höhenweg to the Rifflesee, whereby the climbs, some of which are secured with wire ropes, lead through steep gullies and interspersed slopes. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required here. If you are physically capable of doing it, you can still make a detour to the Plangerosskopf. Promising summit hike with easy climbing sections in the Ötztal Alps. The Hohe Geige (3395m) is the highest mountain in the Geigenkamm between Pitztal and Ötzal. The summit offers a nice climb and great views. Normal hiking gear is recommended (sturdy mountain boots). The ridge is rope-free and a via ferrata is set at 100 m in length. No climbing equipment is required. A helmet is recommended but not required.

Panoramic hike in Tyrol. The cable car takes you up to the Rifflsee and starts from there. You can reach the Taschachhaus via the Fuldaer Höhenweg. About 1.5km before the Taschachhaus you have to make a small detour because a landslide destroyed part of the original path. The managed Taschachhaus hut is open between June and September and is also freely accessible as a winter house. From there, the descent to the Rifflseebahn stop begins.
