This route takes a short loop enjoying two of the trails of the Metropolitan Park of Chile. First, it takes the Mapuche trail from its beginnings on Avenida Abate Molina and goes through the quarries of the Cerro reaching the Center for Environmental Education and Animal Protection, and then crosses the paved street a couple of times and returns along the Paseo Metropolitano. This beautiful trail within the Metropolitan Park of Santiago accesses the Cerro San Cristobal from its west side, officially starts at Antonio Mackenna street, and climbs up the slope of the hill to the north. The Zorro Vidal trail is well marked and signposted, and is exclusively for pedestrians, being the most popular for those who want to walk or run up. It used to be used by cyclists who preferred a more rustic path rather than the paved road but is now off-limits to bicycles.
