This is the nature loop which features a winding sandy trail through a beautiful variety of habitats. There are several sections of boardwalks that travel over wetland areas and there are many unique plant and animal species to spot along the way. Other features of the Urfer Family Park include playgrounds, a fitness path, and picnic pavillions.

Starting at the Sarasota Audubon Nature Center, this trail travels the southern perimeter of the park.
