Walk along the Cotentin coast, from the charming gray granite castle of Flamanville to Quédoy cove. Along the way, you will cross the beautiful gardens of the castle, you will walk along the Bois Ferrey and you will pass by the archaeological site of the Camp du Castel. You will have pretty views of the sea when you approach Cap de Flamanville.

Along the way, you will pass by monuments steeped in history: the Flamanville castle, the Pierre au Rey dolmen and the Métot manor. Part of this route passes over cliffs, from where you will have beautiful views of the sea and the Channel Islands.

This route is the thirteenth stage of the GR®223, a Great Hike which is also called the Tour du Cotentin, which goes from the village of Berville-sur-Mer in the Eure to Mont-Saint-Michel in the Manche. This stage begins in the village of Sciotot, and runs along the coast to the village of Hattainville, passing by the Pointe du Rozel.

Hike in pretty Cotentin countryside, starting from the small Norman village of Le Rozel. In the village, you can see the beautiful Rozel manor, which dates from the 18th century. You will cross fields to go to the rocky promontory of Cap du Rozel, where you can see the statue of the Madonna and beautiful views of the sea.
