Kanher Dam is an earth fill and gravity dam on the Wenna river near Satara in the state of Maharashtra in India. The trail will cover the entire kanher dam and reaches Medha to join the national highway. The main purpose of the dam is to provide hydroelectricity with some irrigation facilities in neighboring areas. The Kanher valley and Kanher dam irrigate the upper parts of the Satara district, just downstream of the town, Medha. The trail is good for motorbiking and scenic driving.
