This hike starts in the center of Saverne, on the banks of the Canal de la Marne au Rhin. The route goes through the Grotte Saint-Vit, Schweitzerhof, the Château de Greifenstein and the Etang du Ramstahl, among others, before returning to the starting point. The Grotte Saint-Vit is a vast natural excavation in the sandstone, overhung by a plateau where a magnificent garden has been laid out and offers a very beautiful view.
