This trail is accessible from the newly constructed U.S Forest Service Mescal Day Use Area (DUA) located on Long Canyon Road just northeast of Boynton Pass Rd. There is limited parking available at the Mescal DUA. Beginning Thursday June 9, 2022, the city of Sedona will begin a free shuttle service to the Mescal DUA from the Posse Grounds Park & Ride located at 20 Carruth Dr. in Sedona.
