The dreamlike Lej da Segl (Lake Sils) is one of the three lakes in the Engadine lake district in the Upper Engadin. Chastè is a wooded peninsula that juts out about 300 m into Lake Sils. This trail starts in Sils Maria and leads along or through the Fex valley. It leads along the ridge and goes up to the Alp Muot Selmas hut with a wonderful kitchen. There wonderful views of the surrounding mountain peaks are waiting and also the Vadret da Roseg glacier. A really great landscape. The path leads through partly open terrain without much shade, so make sure you have adequate sun protection.
