The hiking trail goes around Brearedsjön along Fylleån and through the scenic beech forest in Danska Fall nature reserve which is located just south of Simlångsdalen. You walk through a fairytale land of old beech forest, mountain slopes, well-kept walking trails and open fields. You also walk along the disused railway, Bolmenbanan and pass the old railway Jöransfors. The trail is marked in yellow.

In addition to the main attraction, the waterfall, you will walk through a fairytale land of old beech forest, mountain slopes, well-kept walking trails and open fields. Until the falls, the path is smooth, then it becomes narrow and hilly. The trail is marked in blue.

The trail takes you through beautiful beech forests in the nature reserves Bröda, Veka, and Hule in partly hilly terrain. The hike starts from the car park, runs on the old embankment on the west side, and rounds Mahults Herrgård in the far north. Along the trail, you pass another parking lot with a swimming area and toilet on the south side of the trail, coffee and view areas, several barbecue areas with tables and benches along Simlången in the northern part of Hule.

Beautiful hiking trail through Gårdshult nature reserve near Simlångsdalen, Halland The Smedhultaleden runs around Gårdshult Nature Reserve. The trail passes Halmstad hill from where you can see the water tower in Söndrum. At Höjabjär, the highest point on the Smedhultaleden, you get a beautiful view over Halmstad and towards Gårdshult.
