This trail is a lightly used trail has a mature Oak forest with well marked trails. This hilly trail has a nice canopy of trees most of the route. This trail is nestled in the hills that are near the Big Sioux River. There is wildlife in the hills, deer, wild turkey, among others. The dirt trail is a 2 wheeled track that goes through some beautiful mature Oak trees.

This 1 mile trail is mostly a dirt 2 wheel track that ascends to a bluff viewpoint of Sioux Falls. This is a moderate trail with 2 sections that are steep but short. This trail begins along the West side of the pond not very far from the Ski Lodge. it ascends to a bluff through Oak trees to a vista of Sioux Falls. There are 2 sections of this dirt trail that are steep but are short lived.

This is a very easy crushed asphalt trail that gently ascends past a small pond and through a valley of mostly Oak trees at Great Bear Ski area. This quiet out and back trail gently ascends an Oak tree filled valley with benches along the way. It begins by going along a picturesque pond and then crossing the usually dry creek bed via a footbridge. There is a covered bench at the furthest point of the trail where you turn around.

Beautiful park and easy trail with lots of kid friendly areas. Stop by the waterfall for some zen and check out the paved pathways with ample spots for looking out over the falls and plenty of spots where you can stop and read about the history and geological formation of the falls.
