Path no. 15 leads through beautiful meadows and then path no. 13, through an idyllic forest to the Völser Weiher | Laghetto di Fiè. A pleasant but demanding hike in the Fiè allo Sciliar region that reaches the summit of Monte Pez (2568m). The Schäufelesteig trail winds a lot in the first few meters of the ascent, so it is advisable to be careful. The route takes place in a ring starting from the parking of the Laghetto di Fiè and proceeds clockwise.

This beautiful route starts from Siusi allo Sciliar | Seis am Schlern and leads up to the Tomleg rest area via the Touristensteig path. The first climb leads up to Castel Salego | Burg Salegg and the Castelvecchio Ruins | Ruine Hauenstein, two castles of which now only ruins remain. Castelvecchio dates back to the 12th century and was owned by the German poet and diplomat Oswald von Wolkenstein who also gives this hiking path its name.
