This is the entire Delaware and Raritan Canal Trail which runs between New Brunswick and Frenchtown, New Jersey. This is the longest multi-use trail in the state. Some sections follow the canal that was built in the early 1830s while other sections follow the course of the former Belvidere Delaware Railroad. There are markers alongside the trail noting the mileage. The crushed gravel is not well suited for thin road bike tires.
