Then it goes on via Kreuzhof and the lake Wenigerweier until one reaches the Steineggwald forest. Then the path passes the outskirts of Speicher and then reaches Hohe Buche at 1145m on paved roads. Then it goes along forest and field paths back via Sankt Georgen.

It follows asphalted roads passing through Appenzell and then through a wooded area at the foot of the Gäbris peak at 1250 m. The trail leads back to the starting point via St. Anton, Wilen, Walzenhausen and Wolfhalden.
