This trail is a 3.3 mile out and back trail. It is an easy trail used year round and is used for hiking. The trailhead is up by the old airport and heads south around the bluff. It is a mile to the old quarry, but the trail continues another .6 mile past if you choose to continue. There are nice views as you walk out onto the point.

Owens Loop Trail roughly follows the urban edge of St. Georges northwestern downtown residential area from on top of red sandstone bluffs.
