Very nice tour in the Upper Engadine. At the beginning it goes steeply up to the lake Lej Suvretta. The descent gives one a fantastic view of Lake St. Moritz. St. Moritz is a luxury alpine resort town in the Swiss Engadine valley. This place has even hosted the Winter Olympics twice and also has several ski resorts in the area. The hike goes through the area of Suvretta da San Murezzan/ St.Moritz until the path reaches Suvretta and then continues until it comes to the shore of Lake St.Moritz.

A beautiful walk from St Moritz to Samedan via the Staz lake. From Staz the path descents in the direction of Celerina, and turns right towards Samedan just after passing San Gian church. That church must be worth a visit, but it is rare to find it open. It was built in 1478 from the bishop at the time with the gothic tower.

The trail starts in Sankt Moritz in the famous place. A few kilometers outside of the lively town, it goes up to the Julier Pass in the Ela Nature Park. Then in a wide arc through nature and finally back up to the Albula Pass at 2312m. Then it's already back to Sankt Moritz. If you still have some energy left in your legs or would like to do an exploratory tour the following day, go high up on Lago Bianco up to the Bernina Pass at 2330m. A great tour by bike.
