The trailhead for this scenic paved walk is located along Eureka Springs Rd in a large parking lot. This is a scenic area with wide shaded trails and views of the two ponds in the park. Accessibility: There are several designated accessible spaces in the large paved parking lot off of Himes Avenue at the west end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved asphalt or concrete and smooth. It is typically 4 to 10 feet wide (with some wider passing spaces). There are not many views along the trail, however, there are many opportunities to view wildlife and wildflowers. This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by mountain bikers and hikers. Bug spray is recommended due to the number of bugs present in the warm months. The route is not very well-marked and downloading the route beforehand to navigate is suggested.

This area was purchased to protect the watershed of this region and is managed by the Tampa Bay Water Association. Here, visitors will travel through a lush hardwood forest full of slash pine, longleaf, and palmettos. This area is known as the "flatwoods" and while there are not many views along the trail, there are many opportunities to view wildlife and wildflowers.

This route travels most of the perimeter of Lake Park. Along this trail, visitors will get to experience the beauty of Lake Starvation, Lake Catherine, Lake Oakely, Lake Sproul, and Lake Crum. There are many great facilities in the park including a BMX area, a volleyball court, picnic areas, playgrounds, and restrooms.
