This hiking route starts from the village of Pontcharra-sur-Turdine. Hikers will take the dirt paths that crisscross between farmland and the many vineyards of the region. On this hilly terrain and with panoramic views, the circuit leads to the famous village of southern Burgundy, Saint-Vérand, known for its grand cru white wine. On the way back, hikers will return via Dareizé and Saint-Loup.

Here is a hike from the Route de Ronzière near Saint-Forgeux that will take you to the Monts du Lyonnais around the Crêt Marmont, a summit located at an altitude of 746m. Hikers will follow small country roads which offer a beautiful view of the valley below as well as a dirt road which runs along the ridge. The route ends along the Ronzière between agricultural land and forest.
