You will start this route along the shores of the lake formed by the Centenario dam in Tequisquiapan. You will enter the town a bit, generally through main streets, and you will head west, where you will find the Cerro las Estaciones de la Cruz. You will climb it on a well-marked dirt path, up to a viewpoint with beautiful views.

Features
This circular route explores the region south of the town of Tequisquipan, and although it is made primarily for mountain biking fans, it can also be done on foot. This area is very agricultural, and you will pass many fields and observe the crops and agaves. You will pass through the town of San Nicolás, where you could stop for something to eat or a little rest.
Activities
Features
The first part of the path is very nice, although it sends you a little off the official route, but it is located quite easily. Crossing the dam, a very nice point of view is reached. However, the return loop around the right hand side of the dam does not allow a complete loop: you have to return on the same path, as the path ahead is not accessible. The entrance of the main road is closed by a wooden gate, you can easily pass through the woods.
