Beautiful dune and beach trail starting in Kijkduin. Along the Jutterskeet you walk into the dunes of the Westduinpark. You will also pass bunkers and trenches of the Atlantic Wall, dating from the Second World War. The route runs through the dunes to Strandslag 10, where the trail takes you onto the beach. In the summer you pass several beach bars here. Dogs are only allowed here in the winter months.

Nice round starting from Kijkduin, through the dunes of The Hague. You walk through the young dune area of Westduinpark. The dunes are dotted with World War II bunkers of the German Atlantic Wall. One of the bunkers is now the De Haagse Piek lookout point. You can also see traces of trenches and you can visit the Jutterskeet (only open on Saturdays and Sundays).

Bicycling loop along the Dutch coast line and Hook of Holland. The route takes you along natural places south of Den Haag city. Along the route you will find several campgrounds.

The Duinenmars is an annually organized walking event that takes place in the autumn. Routes from 5 to 40 kilometers are organised, which all run through the dunes of The Hague. The event works together with the Dutch scouts, and is therefore very popular among this group. This is also a beautiful dune walk outside the event, from Kijkduin around and through the Westduinpark.

Loop over the Puinduin, a hill located in Kijkduin. It is a memorial park with monuments that remind of the Second World War. The Monument of Debris was created from the rubble of the bombed houses. From the top you have beautiful panoramic views of the area. At the end of the route is a restaurant on the water of the Haagse Beek.
