Vathilakkos Creek (Ρέμα Βαθύλακκου) The march to the Vathilakkos Creek in Thermi, a not so well known hiking destination near Thessaloniki. It is a biotope next to the city, which was highlighted in the last decade with the creation of a small artificial lake, the construction of small bridges and of a walking route with relevant signage. The hike starts from the Thermi Environmental Park and heads north into the Vathilakkos ravine, returning back along the same road.

Easy hike mostly on well-developed roads. Only at the beginning and at the end does it progress on narrow paths.

Triadi Lake - Lanari Hill (Λίμνη Τριαδίου - Λόφος Λανάρι) Well-marked route to the southeast of Thessaloniki city, which starts from Triadi Lake, an artificial lake that was created due to the dam at Palia Latomia (Isenli). The route ascends the green northwestern slope of Lanari Hill and reaches its top. From there the view to the peaks of Mt Chortiatis in the north and the plain in the south, which extends to the sea, is abundant and fantastic. The return from the same road.
