This is an excursion in the woods in the municipality of Marsico Nuovo with departure from Fontana delle Brecce. The walk in the woods is particularly interesting for the splendid corners of nature, the stop at a source of frozen natural water, the passage on the ski slopes of Sasso di Castalda and the breathtaking view from the Belvedere of Monte Arioso. A very nice walk to visit the Archaeological Park of Serra di Vaglio (1100m). From here it is possible to observe a beautiful panorama of the Lucanian countryside and it is a meeting place between the Italic civilization, which inhabited these places, and the Greek presence. The route starts from the Museum of the Ancient People of Lucania, near Vaglio Basilicata and proceeds following the paths in a clockwise direction.

A bicycle excursion departing from Paterno, near the church of San Giovanni Evangelista. Proceed along the provincial road until you reach Villa d'Agri, suddenly crossing the Agri river.
