The route passes through Opicina | Opcine, Orlek and Basovizza | Bazovica returning to the starting point along the Giordano Cottur cycle and pedestrian path. It crosses the Karst plateau historically known for being the site of violent battles during the First World War. Part of this route crosses the border from Italy to Slovenia.

A nice circular walk around the historic center of Borgo Teresiano, starting from Piazza Sant 'Antonio Nuovo and following the path until you reach Colle San Giusto, where you will find the War Memorial, the Roman Forum and the Parco della Rimembranza. Also from the hill there is a beautiful view. On the way back you will pass through the old town, Cavana and Riborgo.
