In front of Turku is the 7 kilometer long Ruissalo island. On the island you can see nature, fauna, historical monuments, villas and other attractions. The Ruissalo nature trail runs throughout the island. The route can be divided into two different loops, or run completely. The westernmost loop is called Kuuvan Reitti and the eastern one is Kansanpuiston Reitti.

The Timalipolu has the opportunity to get to know the seaside landscape that has preserved its natural state in the Urban Area. The route is named after the Bearded reedling that has spread to Finland. This winged creature can be seen in the area. From the path you can also see the crane of the Perno shipyard, the “World's Handle” visible all the way to the Archipelago Sea. The route is marked with red dots and signposts at intersections

At the end of Raisionlahti is a nature reserve around which runs a nature trail. There are 19 boards along the route that tell about the nature of the area from many different perspectives. There is a bird tower on the south bank, and there is a spur closer to the water's edge on the north bank. The route is easy to navigate, narrower in some places, and signposted.

12 radial routes and three ring routes for cycling have been defined for the Turku region. The routes are signposted in co-operation with the municipalities in the region. Route signage has started in 2020 and the project will take several years. The routes run on cycling routes. Route 23 passes through Raisio and Runosmäki.
