On the east side of Vaasa, in Asevelikylä, is the Edvininpolku park. A path runs around the area, along which there are outdoor artworks by Edvin Hevokoski. The works can be classified as ITE (Itse Tehty Elämä) art, which is art created in Finland by untrained artists in everyday environments. Internationally, the broader concept of Outsider art is used. Edvininpolku is short and flat, and it has a playground and a barbecue area. There is also a dugout museum in the area.
