The cave has huge limestone formations, with stalactites hanging from the ceiling. The cenote has brightly colored artificial lights, and you can swim in its waters.

Beautiful trail will take you to Cenote X'Lakaj in Chichimilá, Yucatán. There is a small fee to enter this bio park. The trail will take you to the cenote where you can swim in the fresh turquoise water and you will find points where you can jump from the natural stone to the cenote. From here the trail will take you through the dense jungle and back to your starting point.

This route connects the towns of Chichimilá and Tekom; in the center of the latter, you'll find Cenote Tekom, also known as Cenote K'om Há. Most of the route is on Highway 295, be careful and use a lot of caution. The trip has beautiful views of the jungle, and when you arrive in Tekom, you may pay a small fee to swim in the cenote.
