Jakob Kavaleff was the owner of the Tuomarinkylä manor and agricultural adviser, and he founded the arboretum park in Niskala in 1905. Jakob's path runs through the Niskala arboretum, and visits several signboards. Paper birch and Douglas fir are examples of species originally planted by Kavaleff.
