This route is on a wide road, partly on asphalt and partly on dirt road with only one water supply point: at the Campo dei Fiori belvedere, where there is a public fountain. There are signposts along the way, although not many. The round trip itinerary starts from the car park near Santa Maria del Monte and begins in the direction of Campo dei Fiori to then proceed and reach the Orino Fort (1120m).

An excursion in the Campo dei Fiori Regional Park, starting from Rasa di Varese. The route proceeds in an anticlockwise loop mostly on paths, to reach the Pizzelle Pass (930m) and subsequently Campo dei Fiori with its magnificent Belvedere. The itinerary returns to the starting point passing through Santa Maria del Monte where the via crucis begins up to the First Chapel.

A beautiful excursion in the Campo dei Fiori park, north of Lake Varese, starting from Velate. The route takes place in an anticlockwise loop and begins by reaching the village of Santa Maria del Monte. From here the itinerary proceeds crossing the peaks of Punta Paradiso, Punta Mezzo (1227m), Punta Merigetto (1164m) and Forte Orino (1139m).

You can park at the entrance to the Sacro Monte or there is also a funicular that goes up to the mountain. You can admire along the street all the chapels of the 1600s which are real baroque masterpieces: triumphal arches and fountains mark the passage from one group of chapels to another.
