This circular route begins at the valley station of the Verbier - Savoleyres cable car at the car park and then leads relatively quickly out of the alpine town into open terrain. Over meadows and partly stony terrain, it goes up to almost the top of the Pierre Avoi at 2473m. The peak offers great views over Saxon and Unterwallis in the canton of Valais. The mountain peak's name means 'must see rock' due to its succinct shape.

Features
The trail starts in Verbier at the foot of the cable car up to Savoleyres. Along the path Chemin des Luis one follows a mountain road across meadows. It gives a great view of the surrounding glaciers in this alpine panorama. It is a terrain, partly rocky, without much shelter, where you are exposed to the sun, especially in summer. So please don't forget to bring adequate sun protection and water.
