This route is the eleventh stage of the GR®670, the Grande Randonnée which crosses Lozère from West to East, from Nasbinals to the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, in the footsteps of Pope Urban V. This stage begins in the pretty little town of Vézénobres, and goes to the charming village of Moussac located on a rocky outcrop above the Gardon.

Hike in the wood of Deaux and in the countryside, starting from the Romanesque church of Saint-Hilaire, in the small town of Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas, at the gates of the Cévennes national park, south of the town of Ales. You may be able to see planes above you, as this route passes by Alès Cévennes airfield.

Hike on pleasant paths between vineyards and scrubland, with passages in the forest, starting from the charming village of Martignargues. In the village, you will pass in front of the charming Saint-Martin church rebuilt in 1730 on an old burned down church. Along the way, you will cross the La Droude river and the village of Ners.
