The forest path takes you to the heights of the Gorges du Doubs before heading towards the village of Le Pissoux. The return is via the Bois du Russey and the Bois des Champagnottes. The path runs along the Doubs River to reach the impressive Saut des Doubs waterfall. This short hike in the Doubs Horloger Regional Natural Park starts from Sur la Roche near Villiers-le-Lac in the Doubs. The route, mainly in the forest, follows the Sentier des Bornes and leads you to the summit of Meix Musy on the Swiss border. You will have a splendid 360° panorama with in particular a view of the Swiss Alps. The return to the village is via the D447.
