The Brunet Castle is a building located in the northern part of the Castillo hill. It belongs to Carabineros de Chile, which uses it as a hotel, event center and ceremonial palace. In 2005 it was declared a Historical Monument by the Ministry of Education. The Brunet family began the construction of this French-inspired castle in 1923, when the eccentric millionaire Rafael Brunet Brown commissioned the project to the architects Alfredo Azancot and Jorge Schroeder.

The Wulff Castle is a building located on the coastal edge of the city of Viña del Mar. Since 2005 it houses the headquarters of the Heritage Unit of the Municipality of Viña del Mar. It was built between 1905 and 1906, being modified in 1920 and 1946. On September 20, 1995 it was declared a "National Historical Monument" by the Ministry of Education.
