This trail around Stubber river is unique due to the so-called dead ice holes. The holes were formed during the ice age, when large lumps of ice formed the holes. Flyndersø itself is formed by a lot of dead ice holes that are filled with water. The area is also rich in deer, ospreys and otters, so it will be a good thing to bring binoculars.
