This NS Walk is a lovely coastal walk between the Vlissingen and Westkapelle train stations. The walking route takes you through the dune areas of Walcheren, past lighthouses, beaches and Zoutelande. You'll pass historic points such as Uncle Beach, where the Allies arrived in 1944, and climb high dunes for unparalleled views. Also in Weskapelle you will pass a few museums where you can learn more about the history of the area.

A walk from the heart of Vlissingen, from where you soon enter a variety of natural landscapes. First you walk through the Nollebos, a lovely small forest filled with water features located between Vlissingen and the beach. You then walk on to the Westduin area, where the landscapes are transformed into dune areas. Back you walk closer to the beach, through the dunes and along the boulevard.

Walcheren is wonderful to explore by bicycle, this trail runs along the Manteling, Middelburg and Vlissingen. Cycle route through Walcheren around half of the area. Starting from the port of Vlissingen, the route takes you on quiet cycle paths along the Canal through Walcheren to the center of Middelburg. Lovely walk starting on the pleasant boulevard of Vlissingen. The boulevard is filled with restaurants and terraces and is buzzing with life. From here you walk along the beaches Badstrand and on Nollestrand. After a short stretch through the dunes you will arrive in the Nollebos. The forest is filled with ponds, which you walk around. You will also come across a restaurant here. You walk back to the starting point on the boulevard.
