This hike, between canals, fields and forest, begins in Weckolsheim, on the edge of the Vauban Canal. The route partly runs along the Canal Vauban as well as the Canal du Rhône au Rhin and passes, among other places, by Umbruch, the Ouvrage de Heiteren which is a fortified castle and the Chemin de Heiteren, before returning to the starting point.

The route leads over forest paths past the Lilienhof, through the Obere Mühlental and to the Adlernesthütte.
