The Inn of Waterloo

The The Inn of Waterloo Has Not Been Certified As Dog Friendly

This is a lovely trail with a creek running through it, access to meadows, forest trails, and even some nice picnic areas. Folks recommend downloading the offline maps since it can be easy to follow offshoot trails that lead to nowhere by accident. The trails are not well-maintained or well-marked, since there is almost no signage anywhere. This is a great loop to have a longer route if needed.

This walk vists the beaches along the Laurel Creek Reservoir before heading along the Pine Meadow Loop. It also passes the areas in the park where camping is possible. This is a great family friendly option for a short hike or an overnighter. There is an entrance fee and dog on lead are welcome to join but may not go to the beach areas, so plan on a slightly different route if you bring your dog!

When bridges are being rebuilt, hikers are reminded they can still cross the streams by foot, so it is a good idea to bring waterproof shoes. Overall, this trail is absolutely beautiful and will become a favourite. The route is very well marked with picturesque scenery. A section of the trail goes through private property, please stay on the trail.
