Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, and Grey Loop Trails connect to make a loop that is good for hiking, running, or biking. Great trail with diverse terrain. Although in close proximity to housing developments, the trees and wooded area make it feel more remote. Creek crossings, small meadows with wildflowers, and a beautiful overlook towards the end of the trail create a well rounded experience in a relatively unknown area just outside Fort Worth.

Features
This is a well-maintained route that travels the water's edge of the lake. The views are beautiful, especially the rock bluffs in the hollow, and the trail can be challenging at certain points due to the rocky terrain. The trail can become muddy during wet conditions and waterproof shoes are recommended.

This is a nicely marked and easy trail that makes for a great choice for the whole family to enjoy. The trail can be challenging in some areas with lots of loose rocks to navigate. There are several side trails along the way that lead to viewpoints of the lake or to the campground. There is a lot of shade along the way which is great for escaping the summer heat.
