This fantastic hike starts by Lake Lucerne in the canton of Lucerne. The trail begins in Weggis and leads through the beautiful mountain landscape to the Felsentor Foundation at 1130m. The trail then continues on the Rigiweg to Rigi Kaltbad, where there is an idyllic little chapel.

The trail begins right on the shore of Lake Lucerne in Weggis. It can let the fresh air and the beautiful views convince one to follow the path in the center along the water. Then it goes over fields and meadows in the Herrenwald forest, also directly along the water until one reaches Langenzihl. Then it goes back to the beginning via small settlements in the middle of the cultural landscape.

This great hike is located directly on Lake Lucerne near Weggis in the canton of Lucerne. The path begins in Weggis and leads directly along the beautiful lake shore to Lützelau, up a little bit through a beautiful forest and on the Chestene path back to the starting point.

This path leads via the Chesteneweg from Weggis to Vittznau. It starts at the edge of the Chile forest and passes Bodenberg and Bannholz. Then it goes on over the Lützelauerwald forest and then in further succession over other small settlements down to Vitznau. Again and again one is able to get some breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne.

The trail begins at the valley station of the Weggis-Rigi Kaltbad cable car and then leads through the forest. On the way it passes two stations of the mountain railway and then follows the Staffelhöhenweg path to just before the third station Rigi Staffel at 1603m. Then it goes through the area of the Vorderen Rigiwald forest over some alpine farms with great resting stops to grab a bite to eat before heading back down into the valley.
