The route passes through Basel, Rheinfelden, Bad Säckingen, Laufenburg, Hohentengen am Hochrhein, Jestetten and Neuhausen am Rheinfall, among others. Neuhausen am Rheinfall is popular for its impressive Rhine Falls, which are estimated to be 23 meters high.

The path begins at the Riehen natural pool and leads along the Mühlemattweg along the Wiese river. The natural pool is passed through reeds, sand and other biological filters. iMan follows the path to the Erlensteg, where it then returns via the Wiesendamm Promenade. You get a good overview of the area and can relax wonderfully.

This trail begins in Switzerland in the small border town on the banks of the Wiese river. It starts past the Riehen vineyard then onto German territory. Through sparsely populated area and passing picturesque vineyards the path invites to wander around and also take a peak to France. At Ötlingen, the path turns at the foot of the Tüllner Berg at 452m from where to make the pilgrimage back via Untertüllingen.
