The Eschenwald near Winterthur is a popular recreation destination for the local population. It offers many different hiking and running routes, past beautiful streams and waterfalls. This path leads to the Eschenberg (591 m), where the 30-metre-high Eschenberg Tower is located. After climbing the 167 steps, a dreamlike 360° panorama opens up.

Along the river Töss it goes at the foot of the Eschenberg with its proud 591m through the surrounding Eschenberg forest. Always following the watercourse, this results in an exciting run or a nice longer walk without many meters in altitude.

The path begins in Winterthur at the train station and then leads along the paved road to the Eschenberg forest and comes over the Eschenberg hill at 591m. Then it goes back to the beginning and then leads towards the stream Eulach. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.
