Trail entry is $25, but you can get in for free with the National Park Pass. Parking can get crowded, get here early for a spot. Gorgeous views, mostly pleasant, can get pretty hot as portions of the trail lack trees for shade. Some incline, but the views are worth the effort.

Devils Tower rises from the prairie in the Black Hills. It is a sacred place for the Northern Plains Indians. It is a great place for rock climbing, specifically crack climbing. For added adventure, traverse the boulder field to the tree line, and you’ll get a closer, quieter look at the tower. Get there early to beat the crowds!
