Alternate trail starting in the Grant Creek area and connecting to the Rattlesnake Wilderness trails system. Quick way to connect to the Stuart Peak trail. I would avoid taking a dog if you are going to connect into the Rattlesnake Wilderness. Seasonal and year-round restrictions in place. In general, dogs must be on leash for first 1/4 mile, then can be off leash until you reach the junction. Once at the junction, no dogs are allowed.
