The start of this route in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park is located at the southern parking lot of Lac de Longemer near Xonrupt-Longemer in the Vosges department. Very nice hike with difficult and even dangerous passages, especially in autumn. Some rocks to climb and two sections with a cable to grab for your safety. Not recommended for children, dogs and uninformed walkers.

You will find picnic tables at the water's edge, next to the chapel. So that you know, half of the route is on a shared road with vehicles.
