This great tour starts from the fantastic Valais mountain village of Zermatt in the canton of Valais. This place is car free. The path goes up to the Riffelalp via Grünsee. On arrival you can enjoy the hike from the beautiful five-star hotel on the Riffelalp as well as the train that takes you back to Zermatt.

Like all hikes in and around Zermatt, this one will also keep its promises. Crystal clear lakes, grandiose mountains including the Matterhorn, simply unforgettable. This route begins at the train station in Zermatt and initially leads in large curves through the forest up to the Riffelalp (2222m). Over the Riffelberg (2582m) it then reaches the beautiful Riffelsee (2758m). With a fantastic view on the majestic Matterhorn, it returns to the starting point via Furi.

Very attractive hiking trail with a wonderful view of the southeast face of the Weisshorn. The route starts at the train station in Zermatt and goes via Schweifinen, Wisshorn and Trift. Zermatt is a world-famous place with the Matterhorn, skeinen endless ski slopes and the ingenious hiking and mountain bike trails in summer.
