The trail starts at the Matterhon Glacier Paradise station in Zermatt in the canton of Valais next to the Matter Vispa. The path makes a circuit between rivers, mountains, forests and small towns between the Zermatt-Furi railway and goes through the Gorner Gorge. A cash fee of CHF 5 will be charged for this route.
